Joint Secretary in DPIIT, Ms Sandhya Bhullar, a 2003 batch IAS officer of Gujarat cadre, has been given premature repatriation to her parent cadre. Similarly, Lochan Sehra, Joint Secretary in IN-SPACe, Ahmedabad, and a 2002 batch IAS officer of the same cadre, has also been repatriated. Premature repatriations typically follow requests from state governments or officers themselves in view of cadre requirements or personal reasons. Both officers will now report back to the Gujarat government for further posting.
