V Vidyavathi, IAS (Karnataka: 1991), Secretary in the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), has been given additional charge as Secretary, Ministry of Minority Affairs. The charge runs from October 5 to October 18, 2026.

The Competent Authority approved the assignment for the period in which IAS officer Srivatsa Krishna, the Minority Affairs Secretary, is on leave.

Vidyavathi is a 1991-batch officer of the Karnataka cadre, and holds Secretary rank in the Government of India. Her substantive department sits in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
