The development of all Weather Deep Draft Greenfield Vadhvan Mega Port is recommended by MCZMA for CRZ Clearance to MOEF&CC in its 172 nd meeting on 6 th Feb 2023. Shri. Unmesh Sharad Wagh (IRS) Chairman in-charge, Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) confirmed that CRZ recommendation is received for Vadhvan Port project from MCZMA. JNPA is planning to develop this project in collaboration with the Maharashtra Maritime Board (MMB). It is also informed that the Dahanu Taluka Environment Protection Authority (DTEPA) has already granted permission for Development of Vadhvan Port Project. Chairman in-charge JNPA further informed that, we will abide by all the conditions stipulated in the CRZ recommendation.
