Sujeet Singh Transferred to RDSO as Director/Signal-I

Sujeet Singh, presently serving in North Central Railway, has been transferred to the Research Designs and Standards Organisation and posted as Director/Signal-I at RDSO, Lucknow. He is an officer of the Indian Railway Service of Signal Engineers, the cadre responsible for train protection and communication systems across the network.

RDSO functions as the Railways' principal research and standard-setting body, responsible for approving signalling technology, rolling stock specifications and safety standards applied uniformly across all zonal railways in the country. The Director/Signal-I post places Singh in a role that directly shapes which signalling systems and interlocking technologies get cleared for deployment across the national network, a function with direct implications for both safety certification of new equipment and the approval process that vendors must clear before their products can be procured by any zonal railway.
