Capital markets regulator Sebi on Monday expanded its regional presence by opening a local office in Chandigarh to serve investors and market participants across Punjab, Haryana and the Union Territory.
Capital markets regulator Sebi on Monday expanded its regional presence by opening a local office in Chandigarh to serve investors and market participants across Punjab, Haryana and the Union Territory.
Sebi Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey inaugurated the office, which will function under the administrative control and jurisdiction of the regulator's Northern Regional Office in New Delhi.
The office will facilitate redressal of investor grievances against listed companies and market intermediaries, besides promoting investor education and financial literacy, Sebi said in a statement.
