The Karnataka Government has assigned additional charge to a Director General level officer. In same order, Deputy Commandant General has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Hubballi-Dharwad City. Kamal Pant, 1990 batch, Director General of Police, Recruitment has been given the additional charge of Director General of Police and Director General , Fire and Emergency Services, Commandant General, Home Guards and DG, State Disaster Response Force and Director, Civil Defence, Karnataka State. Renuka K Sukumar, 2011 batch, who was Deputy Commandant General, Home Guards and Ex-officio Deputy Director, Civil Defence has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Police, Hubballi- Dharwad City.
