Jitender Yadav, a 2010-batch AGMUT IAS officer and MD of DTC, will be relieved from the Delhi government from October 15 to join his new posting in Lakshadweep.
Jitender Yadav, a 2010-batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre, will be relieved from the Government of NCT of Delhi with effect from October 15 to join his new posting in Lakshadweep.
Yadav is Managing Director of the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC). He also holds additional charge as Secretary (IT) in the Delhi government.
Lakshadweep is a Union Territory in the AGMUT cadre set-up. Officers of the cadre are posted across Delhi, Goa, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram and the other Union Territories, so the move is an inter-territory posting within the cadre.
The relief order frees both the DTC managing directorship and the IT secretary's post. The brief does not say who will take over either position.
Yadav's move takes effect on October 15. The brief does not name his post in Lakshadweep.
