HS Bajwa Promoted to HAG, Posted Principal Executive Director (Freight Marketing), Railway Board
IRTS officer HS Bajwa, Executive Director (Freight Marketing), has been promoted to HAG and posted as Principal Executive Director (Freight Marketing).
HS Bajwa, an Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer, has been promoted to the Higher Administrative Grade (HAG) and posted as Principal Executive Director (Freight Marketing) in the Railway Board. He is presently Executive Director (Freight Marketing) in the Board.
The promotion keeps him in the same wing of the Railway Board. The title moves from Executive Director to Principal Executive Director, a change of grade within the freight marketing post.
Bajwa came to the Board as Executive Director (Freight Marketing) under a Railway Board order dated August 7, 2025. He was relieved at that time from the post of Divisional Railway Manager at Khurda Road in East Coast Railway.
Railway Board orders on HAG promotions place the officer against a vacant HAG post on a zonal railway. Orders for other officers this year, such as Sundeep Pal's promotion to Principal Executive Director (Pay Commission) on June 3, 2026, follow that pattern.
Khurda Road was his last divisional charge before the Board posting.
